Durham Flag

Al Nichols, a talented artist, designed the flag for the city of Durham, North Carolina. The "seven stars" symbolize The Pleiades, a star cluster in the Taurus constellation. These stars embody Durham's essence and narrative: Arts, Commerce, Education, Medicine, Human Relations, Sports, Recreation, and the Preservation of Our Rich Heritage.
